Dr. Kumarie Kooseram is a Caribbean-trained pediatrician and Child Neurologist with over a decade of experience caring for children with complex medical and neurological conditions. Her academic journey began at the University of Guyana, where she graduated as the top student and was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Medal for Best Graduating Student.

She subsequently completed her postgraduate pediatric training at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, earning numerous academic distinctions, including the Mathias Antwon Award for Best Graduate in the program. Driven by a passion for advancing neurological care for children, Dr. Kooseram pursued subspecialty training in Child Neurology and Epilepsy at the University of British Columbia in Canada.

Throughout her career, Dr. Kooseram has remained actively engaged in clinical research and medical education. She has authored and co-authored publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented her work at national and international conferences. Her research interests include pediatric neurology, neurodevelopmental disorders, epilepsy, and rare neurological diseases.

With more than ten years of clinical experience, Dr. Kooseram is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and their families. Her approach combines academic excellence, clinical expertise, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of children facing neurological and developmental challenges.

As both a physician and a mother, Dr. Kooseram understands the importance of supporting not only the child but the entire family. She is passionate about advocating for children's health, fostering early intervention, and helping every child reach their fullest potential.
